Artificial Ear ( 142 EH = IEC - 318 ) 

Receives the sound generated from the headphone. 142EH is more suitable than Model-142EA-S for testing the headphone, since its frequency range is wider.

X-Y Mouse

Replace the upward, downward, leftward, rightward and enter keys on the keyboard.

HP Printer

( Option )

Printer (All the HP DeskJet or HP Laser Printers that are supported by DOS can all be used.)

Print out the tested results & data.

The items that can be tested by 1840H is much more lesser than Type 1600H does, it can only test the frequency response curve and sensitivity of the receiver, but its test speed is faster.
